# See a garment on a person

The shopper creates a digital twin (a face photo plus either measurements, a clothing size, or a full-body photo) and sees the garment rendered on that twin. The result is a picture, not a live camera overlay and not a 3D model of the garment.

Hosted app: [tryon.wearfits.com](https://tryon.wearfits.com). API host: [api.wearfits.com](https://api.wearfits.com).

A size recommendation is a second step, and only for some twins. Follow [Recommend a clothing size](recommend-size.md) when you need it.

## At a glance

| | |
|--|--|
| Who can do it | A merchant on WooCommerce, a Shopify store that already has Apparel access, or someone who can embed the hosted app. |
| You need | Public garment images, a product name, and a garment type (top, bottom, or full length). |
| You connect | An iframe or the JavaScript modal on your page, the WooCommerce clothing plugin, or the Shopify apparel switch. |
| The shopper sees | The garment on their twin, in one or more poses. |
| You receive | The rendered try-on. Measurements are not returned. |

## Which store you have

1. **Your own website** — embed [tryon.wearfits.com](https://tryon.wearfits.com) with an iframe or the modal SDK. Direct API calls use an `X-API-Key` from the [Dashboard](../account/index.md). The shopper using the hosted app does not need that key. Follow the [clothing SDK guide](../genai-tryon/sdk-guide.md) and the hosted notes at [tryon.wearfits.com/docs/integration](https://tryon.wearfits.com/docs/integration).
2. **WooCommerce** — the clothing plugin builds the iframe from the product images. It does not run the shoe photo-to-3D pipeline, and it does not ask for an API key for the standard iframe. See the [clothing plugin](../woocommerce/clothing-plugin.md).
3. **Shopify** — when the store already has Apparel access, the WEARFITS app can list apparel categories and show a Try On button for those products. Apparel does not go through shoe 3D generation and does not use shoe plan slots. Stores without that access only get shoes. The [Shopify checklist](../get-started/shopify.md) says which switch is which.

## What the shopper must provide

| Twin | Shopper provides | Later size estimate |
|------|------------------|---------------------|
| Size mode | Face photo, plus body measurements or height and a size from XS to 3XL | Can be estimated |
| Photo mode | Face photo and a full-body photo | Not available |

The [clothing user guide](../genai-tryon/user-guide.md) is the shopper-facing walkthrough of that flow.

## Limits you should expect

On the hosted app, a shopper is limited to about 10 fittings an hour and 20 a day. Direct API job submission is rated separately (50 submissions a minute per key, 500 status checks a minute).
