# Foot Size Measurement

Reference for the foot scan and the size widget. The merchant recipe is [Recommend a shoe size](../shoes/recommend-size.md). This is not a clothing size, and it is not a button in the Shopify app or the WooCommerce shoes plugin.

Shoppers scan their feet once, then stores can recommend a size for a specific shoe. The public app lives at [size.wearfits.com](https://size.wearfits.com).

The documented result is an advisory modal. An on-shoe fit picture is not part of this integration.

## What shoppers do

1. Open [size.wearfits.com](https://size.wearfits.com) from a product page, a QR code, or a direct link.
2. Scan on **Android (Chrome WebXR)** or **iOS (App Clip)**. iOS also has a web fallback.
3. Wait for the **result page** (length, width/girth, and size labels).
4. Optionally **return to the shoe** they came from.

A scan can be reused: if the device already has a WEARFITS foot profile, the app can skip a new scan.

## What stores get

The [Size SDK](sdk-guide.md) adds a “check my size” action on a shoe product page. The store sends internal shoe dimensions (`tryonSizeFit`). WEARFITS returns an **advisory** recommendation (size + fit), not raw foot measurements.

WEARFITS must register your store `clientId` and origins before go-live.

## How to use it
