Account, keys, and plans
Most paths need a WEARFITS account. The Shopify shoe app does not.
Who signs in where
| You are launching | Account | Credential on the store |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify shoe try-on, and Shopify apparel when that access is already on the store | None. Stay in Shopify Admin. Shopify bills you. | None. The theme embed is enough. |
| WooCommerce shoes | dash.wearfits.com | API key, pasted in WooCommerce → WEARFITS Try-On, or WEARFITS_SHOES_TRYON_API_KEY in wp-config.php |
| WooCommerce clothing iframe | A Dashboard key is not required for the standard iframe | The plugin reads the WooCommerce product |
| Own website, photo-to-3D, clothing API | Dashboard account | X-API-Key on server-side calls to api.wearfits.com |
| AR library and shoe GLB upload | Dashboard account | Authorization: Bearer on dev.wearfits.com, or a Dashboard session in the browser. Not the X-API-Key header, and not api.wearfits.com. |
| Shoe size recommendation | Dashboard key is not what the product page sends | A public clientId. WEARFITS registers it. See Recommend a shoe size. |
Sign-in to the Dashboard is a magic link to a business email. There is no password. The full click-path is the Dashboard user guide.
API keys
Create a key in the Dashboard after the account has product access. The full secret is shown once. Store it on your server or in the plugin settings.
- Send it as
X-API-Keyfrom your server. - Do not put it in storefront JavaScript, a theme file that shoppers download, or a public repo.
- The shoe-size snippet uses
clientId, not this key. - Shopify merchants never create one.
A new account without a paid entitlement can open Pricing and Activity. Product tools and API keys stay closed until access is active. Quotas for try-ons, products, and keys are shown in the Dashboard for the plan you are on. Names there are FREE, STARTER, and PRO.
Which price list applies
Three lists exist because three channels bill you. Use the one for the channel you installed.
| Channel | Where the charge appears | Where the numbers are written |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify app | Shopify's bill | Shopify app overview (Bronze, Silver, Gold) |
| Dashboard (own site, WooCommerce shoes, API) | The Dashboard, via Stripe | The Dashboard itself, and wearfits.com/pricing |
| A commercial AR agreement outside those two | Whatever you signed | wearfits.com/pricing |
If a page and the Dashboard disagree, the channel that is actually billing you wins. Confirm wearfits.com/pricing before you buy AR outside Shopify.
Hosts, in one place
| Host | What it is |
|---|---|

The developer map repeats this with the matching guide for each host: For developers.
