See a shoe on the foot
The shopper taps Try On, points a phone at their feet, and sees the shoe in the camera. On a desktop they get a QR code and continue on the phone. Nothing is installed from an app store.
This is a visual try-on. It does not tell the shopper which size to buy. That is Recommend a shoe size.
At a glance
| Who can do it | A merchant, on Shopify or WooCommerce. An own-website embed needs someone who can place a link or an iframe. |
| You need | Product photos of the shoes, or a GLB / GLTF you already have. |
| You connect | The Shopify app, the WooCommerce shoes plugin, or the AR viewer at dev.wearfits.com/tryon. |
| The shopper sees | The shoe on their feet. |
| You receive | A try-on button on the product. You do not receive a size. |
Which store you have
- Shopify — install the app, mark shoe categories, and turn the theme embed on. Photos are converted for you. You do not create a WEARFITS account. Follow the Shopify checklist.
- WooCommerce — create an API key, install WEARFITS Shoes Tryon, and digitize the product or paste a viewer URL. Follow the WooCommerce checklist.
- Your own website — create an account, turn photos into a model or upload a 3D file, then place the viewer. Follow the own-website checklist.
What has to exist before the button works
- Photos only — shoes can go through the 2D to 3D step. The usual wait is a few minutes per shoe. Shopify and WooCommerce submit the photos for you.
- A 3D file already — upload it in the AR library at dev.wearfits.com. Accepted uploads include GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, and a zip of OBJ plus textures, up to 30 MB.
- Bags in the same catalog — photos are not enough. Use See a bag on the body.
In a store
The same viewer can run full screen on a display with a camera. Product-page setup above is the self-serve path. A mirror installation is arranged with WEARFITS.
